Who exactly is Tenley Consulting?

My name is Melissa and I am the owner of Tenley Consulting!  

I have 16 years of experience with payroll and bookkeeping.  I always strive to continue my education to keep current on latest trends, software, payroll legislation and my personal goals.

Currently residing in Saskatoon, I am married with 1 child and 3 dogs.  In my fleeting spare time, my husband and I enjoy video games, movies and walks with the pups.  And of course those park visits with our kiddo.  During work hours you'll find me with a coffee (or fizz) and an audiobook.

I have held a National Payroll Institute membership in good standing since 2008.  Since receiving my PCP designation, I have enjoyed the benefits of my membership such as webinars, all day seminars and networking opportunities.  

Since starting Tenley Consulting, I have also held a membership with the Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada.


Tenley Consulting uses Quickbooks Online (QBO) as the primary accounting software.  Along with other file sharing resources, QBO has many great features that help automate and streamline processes to keep businesses (mine and yours) running smoothly.

Partnering with Wagepoint for all of our payroll needs has been a great endeavour.  The ease in which WagePoint does their setup, the payroll processing and their customer service has been fantastic.  It is a great peace of mind when you don't need to worry about your payroll.  Paying employees correctly and on time leads to retention and that is always great for business.

Alongside Wagepoint, I have experience in a multitude of programs such as Dayforce, ADP, Quickbooks and Sage.
